Nature, Life and Society
Our programs, projects and provisions administered under three major themes – NATURE, LIFE AND SOCIETY ( – as our name states) target young people particularly, age 5 to 35.
- NATURE – Acquiring sufficient awareness and exploitation of physical, biological, environmental, and ecological phenomena.
- LIFE – Employing sociological derivatives from NATURE as well as the arts, literature and philosophy, to achieve gainful, productive, fulfilling and satisfying personal life and employment.
- SOCIETY – Using the intellectual and experiential capacity derivable from NATURE and LIFE as above, to develop qualities emblematic of vision, impeccable characters, ability, resilience, temperament and commitment necessary to selflessly improve society and advance human capacity.
Our 2024 Programs
Pursuant to the foregoing, we announce the following programs for 2024
1. ESSAY COMPETITION 2024
Write an essay on a topic of your choice
- Essayists must be 5-35 years old Nigerians of Southwestern Nigeria extraction and must be based in Nigeria.
- Essay must be related to and address the sentiment and letters of this foundation as you understand it here.
- Essay must be not more than 10 pages
- We shall award 1st, 2nd and 3rd place prizes as well as seven compensatory prizes
2. DISSERTATION SUPPORT AWARD 2024
- This year, we are sponsoring three PhD (or other doctoral) dissertation.
- Candidates for the PhD (or other doctoral) degree in any Nigerian University are eligible
- Candidates must be less than 40 years old
- The dissertation must be judged to address or be related the essence of this Foundation and may be in any area of study.
- The candidates shall supply
o Title of their dissertation
o A short synopsis of the dissertation (not more than 1-2 pages)
o The name of their University or College, Department
o The name and contact details of their supervisor
3. COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP AWARD 2024
- We shall identify 3 young people across the nation of Nigeria for this award
- Candidates shall present their work in the local community, state, nation or international that they believe qualify them for this award
- The work presented must be verifiable and attested by reputable and responsible Nigerian
- Candidates are responsible for providing the verification data or sources
- Candidates are responsible for identifying the person, people or organisations that would vouch for them in the verification and attestation process.
